Homeostasis Health presents:

"Understanding ADHD"

An evidence-based educational course for adults and families.

This course is designed to help adults and families understand ADHD properly — beyond labels, stereotypes, or quick fixes — and to support realistic, sustainable change in daily life.

It has been developed by a GP and lifestyle medicine physician, drawing on clinical experience, established science, and lived experience of ADHD.
    This course is:
    • A structured educational programme
    • grounded in science and clinical understanding

    How the course is structured

The course is delivered online and can be followed at your own pace.
    It includes:
    • short, focused teaching sessions
    • a clear progression rather than isolated topics
    • practical exercises to apply ideas to everyday life

    How to use this course

You can use the course entirely flexibly, at your own pace

Work through it steadily over time

Once enrolled, the course is paced so that each new section is available to you one week at a time. This helps you maintain a sense of novelty each week, and maintain steady progress.

    Revisit sections as needed

Take your time with the course, maintain the weekly progress or slow down as you need. You can revisit sections as often as you like, and you never loose access to the course once enrolled.

    Apply ideas gradually

The course covers a lot of ground in every area of life from nutrition and sleep, to executive function skills and relationships. It's organised around learning to apply just 5 key ideas to every area of life, and it's these key ideas which will adapt with you as your life and circumstances change over time.

How this course fits with medical care

The course is educational and does not include individual medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.
Some people take the course on its own as a foundation for understanding ADHD.

Others choose to combine it with individual medical consultations (provided separately) to personalise and deepen the work.

    Understanding ADHD

What people taking the course have found helpful

People taking the course have found the scientific explanations of ADHD particularly helpful in understanding why they experience things the way they do, and in feeling more empowered to make changes that are realistic and sustainable for them.

Experiences vary, and there is no single “right” outcome.

    I'm Dr Greg

I’m a GP and lifestyle medicine physician, and I also have ADHD myself. My work brings together clinical training, evidence-based medicine, and lived experience of navigating ADHD in real, imperfect settings — including work, family life, and the NHS.
